NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 13% increase over the year before.


Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. We are still not far from our record 2019 numbers and we expect that this growth in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians find it easier to travel internationally."

Israel welcomed more than 4.6million visitors in the year 2019, 969,600 of which came from the United States. Since May that year, when Israel reopened to all travelers regardless of vaccination status over 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
